Connection Number ?

If your laptop has a wireless adapter it should be able to detect your wireless router in its user interface (or in Windows Wireless Network Connection). Select your wireless router's signal and if you know the wireless security type (WEP WPA etc) and the wireless security password supply those and off you go.

If you don't know the security type and password, consult the wireless router's literature or download the manual and log in to the router's setup pages and go to wireless settings. In there either note down the password or set a new one.

Lostkat: Your wireless adapter's utilities should have the facility to save a profile for the connection which includes the password.
