black window on start up

When I start my fairly new xp mechine, that has worked
properly for 2 months. The desk top fills in correctly
but there is a window "System32\MCC.exe" it also says
TELNET and the window is black and looks like DOS. It
states that to delete this screen use CLRL+]. I just
don't know if that is safe. Thanks Don

Don, go to Start>Run type: msconfig Select Startup Tab and look for
an entry that refers to Telnet or
MCC.exe or both. Uncheck it , restart and see what happens. You will get
a dialog box that you have to
check on the left side in order to not repeat it at every startup.
