Hi, I'm kind of new to this whole overclocking thing and was wondering if my M11x alienware laptop is safe to over clock? If it is safe, would I be able to keep it on for along time while its overclocking? Heres the info of my laptop:
Processor: Intel® Core™ i7 2617M 1.5GHz(2.6GHz w/Turbo Boost, 4MB Cache)
Memory: 8GB Dual Channel DDR3 at 1333MHz
Video Card: NVIDIA® GeForce® GT540 graphics with 2.0GB Video Memory and Optimus
Hard Drive: 750GB 7200RPM SATA 3Gb/s
Operating System: Genuine Windows® 7 Home Premium, 64bit, English
The reason why I want to over clock my m11x is because I love playing games and I hate lagging. The games I play are Aion, Global Agenda, WoW, LoL, Flyff, MS, and alot more lol. I just dont want to break my laptop if I were to overclock it.
