1terrabite hard drive with xp

Hello,
I've similar probs with 2 Terrabite HDDs, I'm using one of them thru a USB Caddy & although Windows seems to acknowledge itsa presence when I attach it I cannot find it in Explorer or anywhere else.
I've done a clean install of XP Pro and downloaded & Installed SP3 but still can't see it.
CAn I grab LBA 48 from the net bit & would it solve this issue?
Any assiatance would be most welcome. Thank you.

Check Disk Management if it sees the drive, may need to assign it a drive letter or create a partition in it.

If that does not work or Disk Management does not see the drive, take it out of the enclosure and connect it directly to the motherboard.
