Hello good people of Tom's hardware,

I am currently planning an Intel i7 build with a $1000 budget. The system is actually for a friend of mine.

APPROXIMATE PURCHASE DATE: ASAP

BUDGET RANGE: $900 - $1100

SYSTEM USAGE FROM MOST TO LEAST IMPORTANT: Internet Surfing, Gaming, Photo Editing, Movie Watching, A little bit of Digital Animation,

PARTS NOT REQUIRED: Keyboard, Mouse, Speakers, OS

PREFERRED WEBSITE(S) FOR PARTS: Newegg.com, ZipZoomFly.com, Buy.com

OVERCLOCKING: Yes, Overclocking but not immediately. SLI/CrossFire yes depending if it can fit the budget.

MONITOR RESOLUTION: 1920x1200

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: The case needs to be subtle and quiet. I really want to do a Lian Li build.
