Has anyone try four fans on the scythe mugen 2 heatsink? I wonder if it will improve performance. Only one fan is good enough to keep idle temps at less than 30c. Im planning on getting one since is cheap and has good reviews.

If nobody has, what you guys think of the idea?

Really don't see the advantage.= fighting each other
The 4 fan reference is the coolers ability to mount 2 fans in push/pull east/west or in north/south without having to remount the cooler.
Most coolers only allow 2 fans and the cooler must be re-mounted to alter e/w-n/s
orientation.
However i have seen someone use 3 fans e/w and one on the bottom.
I have no idea if this improved temps significantly.

The box says that you can mount the fan in all four sides and add up to 4 fans too. The fact that you can mount the fan in whatever direction you prefer I think is nice. I was thinking that if I put 4 fans then the air will stay warm for the most part, therefore reducing eficiency. Thanx for your imput.
