Y'all i'm trying to put together the following components:

GIGABYTE GA-MA770-UD3
AMD Athlon 64 X2 6000+ Windsor 3.0GHz
Kingston HyperX 2GB 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 1066

I have everything in place and power to the MB but the darn thing will not post. I've removed everything but the CPU and still nothing.

Is the Windsor 3.0 compatible with the Gigabyte GA-MA770? I've looked on the Gigabyte website and I can't find anything about this CPU being or not being supported and was hoping someone out there could advise.

Thanks

It does support it, heres the list

That CPU is a 125W Windsor If I'm not mistaken, theres a 89W one too that would be the newer one. Did you just order these parts?

Whats your PSU?

Should be fine. Make sure you properly connected the 8 pin connector (or 4 if your PSU only has a 4 pin connector). If you did something like plug a PCI-E connector in there it won't work. Have you tried it with one memory stick at a time? What is your PSU and what Video card are you using?
