hello just joined.

im in the very early stages of building my first computer and im wondering whether i will be able to use a Quadro FX (for University work) and a Geforce (for games) together.

if so is does performance suffer at all.

You probably can, but because they use different drivers you may run into problems. I would recommend you just buy a high end Geforce card because it will also run all of the tasks you want to run on the Quadro card.

i think you might right actually. what do you reckon to the gtx275, will it be able to handle maya etc.
