i am in the process of building my own pc and was looking at this items. i noticed the RAM is "specifically designed to be compatible with Intel Core i5 and Core i7 for Intel P55 motherboard"

will there be issues with this motherboard and a phenom x4 955?

or will everything be gravy?

My personal opinion is sales pitch!
I have used ram designed for ATI chipset with a nvidia chipset with out problems.
But like I said personal opinion.

The short answer I learned is that you can use it but will need to tweak the settings, which should be easy in the BIOS. I ordered 8GB today. Can't beat the pricing can you???
