How can window xp be installed in a sata harddisk

The easiest way is to go into the BIOS and set the hard drive to IDE mode. This works great if you are installing to a regular hard drive, and not a SSD.

If you do want to use sata mode instead of IDE mode, you need to use the "F6 additional driver" during the XP install and have the floppy disk with drivers on it ready.
