Left-angled vs Right-angled SATA Cables

Basically, with the left-angled SATA cable, the cable will be facing up when applied to the device and with the right-angled SATA cable, the cable will be facing down when applied to the device. I would go with the right-angled SATA cable... IMO

Right-angled cables have the advantage of being available with locking tabs, if you feel that's necessary. It's not possible to have a locking tab on a left-angle connector. However, there are some situations where a left angle connector must be used. I was installing a second HD in an HP desktop that mounts the drives end-to-end on a plate, rather than in a cage. Only a left-angle connector will fit between the drives.
