I am wanting to know how to hook up too computers to each other so that they can play games and commucate to each other. I have a modem in each computer and i am wanting to use the telephone line to do it.

Each computer needs a NIC (Network Interface Card) and a crossover cable.

Hi,

For some NIC cards yu dont require any crossover cable, as there is a nforce board where you pobably dont need a crossover cable. find nforce chip set and you will find out about the nic card that dont require any crossover cable.

there are many ways this can be done what game are you wanting to play

try looking for a " your game " network emulator lots of tech geeks out there someone has came across this did you check "your game " web site help area if this game has the ability to connect to other pcs to play then the entire set up steps will be on there web sight

each set up will varry upon operating system hardware installed on your / friends computer is this home network or are you setting this up as a house to house connection


not enough info in your question to help try " your game " web sight they might have a link to a connection client pre made for you
