Hi, I'd like to know if it is possible to connect two switch with two (or more) cables in order to create faster connection between them.
The idea is to create a stack of switch networked with two cable instead of only one.

Yeah it's posible on some kit but you're talking enterprise grade stuff but at that point it's more common to use fiber connections between switches rather then multiple copper ones.

What sort of network load are you supporting? must be a fair bit for the bottle neck to be between switches.

It's an home network... I've one switch of 8 ad I need to expand the network, if it is possible I'll buy another 8 port switch. Since is not an enterprise switch I do not think it will support the double connection :(
so i think I'll go for a 16 port...

thankyou!!

The home traffic from 8 PCs is unlikley to cap out the transfer capacity of a half decent 8 port switch even on 10/100 setup, if it's a gigabit switch I'd just go for whatever the cheapest option is
