i\'ve got a lot of documents on my memory stick and recently it won\'t let me use it without formatting it. i want to know how to format it without losing all my work?

Please help me!

You can't, try in another computer though, maybe on a Linux system.

You don't want to use removable media as a primary store of data, use it only as a backup or as a way to move files around. Always work with the assumption that yorur hard drive, or whatever, will fail at some point and back up data accordingly.
