Hey all,

Im expiriencing a problem (after i newly installed vista 32 bit on my pc)

I updates driver there is and installed them all correctly in my system:

Q6600 2,4 GHZ
4GB Corsair Ram
ATI 4850 HD x2 Crossfired
MSI p45 neo 2 motherboard

So when i play Day of defeat : Source , css , GTA 4 , Red alert etc..
my pc freezes ingame after few mins of playing and sometimes my pc freezes when im stating up the game. this is probably no overheating problem because when i start up dod:source in the morning when my pc is turned on for 1 min it also freezes in the game menu

please help!

so... the system was running until you installed vista (same components as before)?

temps: check both CPU and GPU

i installed vista new ,again i was running vista before with same compnents exactly

also the tempatures are around 90 celcius of my ati cards but have always been

and when gaming they are around 100 or 120 i dont know but they always have been like that and never had problems with it

doubt it has anything to do with temp because when i started my pc and it was running for like 20 seconds i started up day of defeat source and the menu freezed the pc.


other games often never do anything wrong like GTA 4 Multiplayer , counter strike 1.6

i also put a table ventilator faced to my open pc case now and it still happens , so yet again i doubt its tempature


also my ATI 4850 cards have a 81 celcius degree in windows running few applications ( no games)

81 degrees idle is very high. it's your temps that are doing it by the sounds of it.
