In my new build my AMD Phenom II X2 550 BE cpu shows up in EasyTune6 as Kuma 65nm

It also has a very slow clock speed...800mhz. I think this might have to do with the power saving feature. Not sure though.

I have tried updating the BIOS to the newest, no change.

Please Help!

Forget what Easytune reads your CPU as, what does CPUz say?

800mHz is Cool 'n' Quiet kicking in... dunno about the Kuma... double-check in the POST screan and with CPU-Z, if it still says Kuma, check your receipt, check the actual CPU, and ask for an RMA.

Check you have the latest BIOS (and that it supports it)
