If the tag on my chip says PC2-6400U-666-12-E3

Does that mean the factory timings are 6-6-6-12?

Also what does E3 stand for?

i highly doubt the timings are 6-6-6-12.....6-6-6-18 would be reasonable

I saw in a guide that for some RAM Chips SPD readings and factory timings may have a discrepancy. I was just wondering what these numbers mean.

You can also use a tool like Belarc Advisor to identify your system components. With that info visit manufacturer's site and look up specs.
