I'm looking for a good low cost monitor (preferably 24" or more) that I could use for both console gaming and video editing/computer animation. I've narrowed my search down to the Dell S2409W and the Acer h243hbmid. I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts as to which was better. thanks for the advice!

Based on an admittedly relatively trivial experience with an Acer CD-ROM drive 12 years ago and admitting that i have not looked at either monitor, I vote for Dell.
