removing win 2k

hi'my system came with win ME then I decide to install win 2k and keep win ME and I didi it and every things goes right but know I want remove win 2K and since win 2k is in D drive and the win ME on C I formated D but I steel have the screen that ask for chosing oprating sysytem and I want to remove it.any idea how can I do that?

open up your boot file "boot.ini" should be in root C:
then under "operating systems" delete the windows 2000 profesional line. save/close it and that should do it.

I didn't find any file called boot.ini but there is file called bootlog.txt I cheked itn out there is nothin about windows 2000.any other ideas?

Boot.ini is a hidden file. I haven't used WinMil but the process of showing hidden files might be the same as in Win 2000. In explorer go to Tools/Folder Options/View and check the radio button that is labled "Show hidden files and folders".

doh! sorry forgot to mention that, i always have it all showing, so i forget that by default it's all hidden.
