Mtp driver not working xp

you can avoid mtp and just use usb to connect to computer for data sharing.

When installation starts just select not this time to windows update,
no to automatically search, select i will install myself
click next
click on install from a list or specific location, next
dont search, I will choose the driver to install, next
select on usb and next,

If you have genuine windows u can use mtp option by going to microsoft web,
go through windows validation etc.. ( kindly search for the link in net).
