More about sizes
  1. 60mm, 80mm, 92mm, 120mm, 135mm, 140mm, 200mm, 230mm. Those are the standard sizes.
  2. So uh, i just measured it incorrectly? Is it not measuring from the screw hole to the other?
What's the best way to measure the fans? (I wouldn't wanna try taking it off though)

The size is measured as the diameter of the fan blades.

Why exactly are you measuring the CPU fan?
if your looking to replace it, you should probably replace the whole heatsink.
then you just have to work out what socket your CPU is (e.g. LG1155, LG755, LG1366, AM2, AM2+, AM3 etc)
  5. I am looking to replace it, yes...
My CPU's socket is LGA 755..
    What about my case fan?

okay, well any heatsink on this page will be adequate http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=207_23_311
also a 100mm fan? measure the blade diameter, not the screw to screw. i would think it is a 92mm fan if so http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=9_509
