I try to turn it in the CPU Fan Speeds up at full speed, and any other fans go on the green led light on the motherboard stays lit when you put the power supply plug into the pc like normal, and I get no post and no beeps. I took the heatsink off to see if the CPU is generating heat, and then i unplugged the pc before it got to hot, and the only way to turn the pc off is by unplugging it you can't hold the power button in or nothin.

What could the problem be?

Is the CPU Dead aswell?

Anyway it's an intel celeron D 3.26 Ghz LGA 775

Anyone wanna buy? 30$

For $35 I managed to get two Pentium 4 530j and two Pentium D 805 and one celleron d 420 along with two pentium 4 2.8e (478 Prescotts). All worked, reason is that I bought a home theater surround sound system for $35 but it was doa and there is no refunds just store credit and the had a sale on cpus for $5 a pop so I loaded up but missed that athlon x2 4800 for 939. The store is goodwill computer works, it the best spot for vintage hardware either than ebay.
