Should I buy a second 4890 or wait for 5xxx...?

Currently I play all my games at 1680x1050 or 1920x1080 alternating between the two.

Anyways. My 4890 is giving me some great performance but I'd love to turn up the eye candy a bit more in some games. 4-8XAA with Very high quality in crysis would be nice. not that high isn't great but I know it can be better.

Prototype is a bit choppy around 1920x1080 with no aa.

Just not sure whether it would be worth it to dish 200 for another card.

I think I heard somewhere that Prototype is a bit biased towards Nvidia and was developed without ATI in mind much... feel free to correct me if I am wrong on this one

I'd just stick with what you have for those res's, for almost all games out there it will be more than enough !

I am still holding out on my trusty old 8800GT till next gen arrives ^^

Good to know. I'll definitely survive. Coming back to pc from consoles is just a complete mind cluck.
