AMD Radeon HD 6770 Overclocked itself?

I just recently bought the HD Radeon 6770 and installed CCC. I checked the AMD Overdrive Tab and it said it was already unlocked. I did overclock my HD 4650 using ccc prior to getting the 6770. I was wandering if anyone else had this problem, and if so how can i fix it.

If you had CCC before and unlocked it but didn't uninstall it before putting in the 6770 then it will stay unlocked.I'm sure all it is,is unlocked and not O.C.'d.Their really isn't anything wrong with it being unlocked but if you want to fix that you need to uninstall CCC and then reinstall.

I just uninstall CCC and reinstalling it im hoping it will fix the problem.

Current Values:
GPU Clock: 400MHz
Memory Clock: 1200Mhz


High Performance GPU clock Settings:
GPU Clock: 850MHz
Memory Clock: 1200MHz

I got it from bestbuy, it is an AMD HD Radeon 6770.



I also Reinstalled CCC and the problem wasnt fixed.

Ur settings are at stock it didn't O.C. itself.Theirs nothing to worry about.
I meant what company made ur 6770, Asus,MSI,XFX etc.

XFX doesn't usually O.C. their cards.
Anyway you should be fine,just leave it unlocked, theirs not way it can O.C. itself.

Well you said you were O.C.ing your 4650 previously so maybe it stayed unlocked from that.

Thats fine.Anyway you shouldn't worry about it being unlocked.Unless you alter the settings yourself they won't change.
