that should run a 9600GT fine (assuming it has the PCI-E power connectors, even then u can use an adapter), question is what ur budget is. u might be able to snag a better card that u missed that we people that breath gfx cards can help u find is there any specific reason you came out saying I want to upgrade to 9600GT?
the psu is ocz500sxs, it has 1 pcie power connector on it.
i want a nice graphics card for around $100 and the 9600 gt seemed to fit in that price pretty well right now (and i am more aware of nvidia cards than ati, not fanboy though). i am not looking for some crazy graphics card because i just want this system to last me for a couple of years more maybe. i am not a hardcore gamer either, i mostly play online games, RTS. the only game that pushed my system to the ground was GTA IV, game is crazy intensive on graphics.... =(
