I have heard mixed reviews on how some games handle SLI/Xfire tech atm; and since my primary goal is to play Warhammer Online at max play value was wondering if anyone had some advice on this situation?

Currently i'm going to go with a EVGA GTX 285 1GB 512-Bit gpu, considering going 275x2; any suggestions?

I've never played Warhammer Online, but I assume a single GTX 275 will do the job just fine. You won't see a huge performance boost going with the 285, and the 2x 275's in SLI will blow away the single 285. The 285 is better than the 275, and 2 285's are better than 2 275's, but not enough to justify the extra $100 price tag IMO.

Grab yourself a single 275, and when you feel the time has come for an upgrade, or you're not satisfied with how it's running, you can grab another one for SLI.

BTW, could you post your current hardware?

Well my newest thinking process has been between GTX 285 and ATI 4890; both are comperable (the 285 is slightly faster than the 4890) but the price difference is about 100 dollars, with the 4890 being cheaper. If i can OC the 4890 to match the 285 wouldn't it be worth it to go with the 4890 then OC it to match the 285's performance?
