How to set up two wireless routers?

I have D-Link Wireless ADSL 2+ router (Router + Modem), which I am using for my one laptop. I bought a new laptop and I am using it in other room but I am not getting wireless signal there.
So I bought a new Aztech wireless broadband router. Now I connected my D-Link router to Aztech router using hard cable (LAN) & started my Aztech modem. Now in the other room, wireless signal from my Aztech modem is coming but it is not connecting to Internet. Do I need another modem? How to resolve this problem?

You need to set the second router with a static IP address. Do an IP Config on the first router, pick an IP address outside the normal range (range being used). Set the Gateway address the same as router #1.
