"The Workstation service terminated with service-specific error 2250."

If so, install Client for Microsoft Networks in your networking properties.

Download, install & run ccleaner. To download, click

It's easy.

Start>Control Panel>Network Connections

Right-click your network card, select Properties, General tab

Click the Install button, then Client, Client for Microsoft Networks, Ok.

That's it.

Everything is now there, but when I try to activate it I get error2250. I downloaded the latest version for XP and installed it and still get the same error.. I went back 2 months and restored the system and still get the error. Any other suggestions? I get the internet ok but nothing on the LAN.. Discover sees the Iomega hdd but can not access it.
I am lost!!!!

I am about ready to trash this 1 year old machine and give up...

Something still needs to be cleaned up. If you're going to junk the machine, send it to me.

Did you run ccleaner?

Do what you find
HERE and see if it helps.
