PC flamed out...

hello guys. need help. trying to boot up my pc then it wont boot. but my mobo lights and the PSU led is on. i kept trying the on switch but it wont boot. and i hear a faint sound that i switched on my pc but it stops there. thanks in advance.

  1. lol, it can be everything, cpu, memory, vga, psu, board. give more info.
  2. i was playing wolfenstein then suddenly my game became distorted and froze then it wouldn't boot up any more because played for more than 12 hours straight maybe it overheated. i tried powering it up but with no avail.

  4. A quality 500W PSU would be enough for your system, but HEC is not known for quality PSUs, so that's what I'd suspect first too.

  6. I would suggest a 600W OCZ Power Supply, you can get them really cheap these days, and there very good quility.

  7. do you know any other brands? because there are no OCZ products here in the philippines...
  8. Antec, Seasonic, Corsair, PC Power & Cooling, and Enermax are all decent.
