Needed GURU for PC not GURU meditation for Amiga

I just upgraded my workstation (Yep old Dell 933r). Here is the low down; I just purchased a wireless optical desktop 6000 (M$) and also a 160gb WD HDD. Now all of a sudden I am getting bad block errors; yes I have taken down the chain of drives re-installed XP again; and again. But something strange has shown up I am getting an error from the keyboard controller (i8042prt). This all of a sudden started the other evening when I received a BSOD with hex 0x24. (You have to remember Dell Jr is about 10 years old). Dont say upgrade I could use a proper answer. And also FYI, I am getting a firmware upgrade in the system eventlog about the ATAPI driver. I am at a loss; I have done the proper chain of events is Dell Jr dying?

Most likely the motherboard is going to completely die soon. My recommendation is to make backups of important data NOW. Could also be a dying HDD.
