I have a Compaq Deskpro EN 866/815e with foxconn insignia or logo in the corner of the board--opposite corner says compaq comp. p1b7bondail14y as# 010174- 001 rev.N sp# 401963- 001 dw# 010175. I also have a Deskpro EP C500/810dc-100 w/82801aa and 82802ab fwh---- same thing, foxconn logo in corner ( some foxconn parts too ) Oh yea, made in Mexico too if that has anything to do with it. What up? DrDavo

HP and others don't necessarily manufacture their motherboards. I have a Compaq server with a motherboard made by Wistron. Foxconn is the largest manufacturer of electronics and computer components worldwide; therefore you can expect to find their components in lots of systems.

like GhislainG said, foxconn makes a lot of different parts for computers.. for example, i have the dvi ports made by foxconn on my asus graphics cards.. or the story about foxconn making sockets that are too good for the 1156 socket.. etc..

i'm not sure what you're asking though.. are you looking for a motherboard replacement? The Compaq could be using its own manufactured motherboard..
