How to remove write protection from XP/Vista Machines

hello i have memory card,
in that i can' t write anything in that.
it was rais one error disk is write protected or use bye another process

please help me to how to remove this write protection from this disk

If it's an SDHC or SD card, check the little switch on the side of the card. It may be in the lock position. If that's not the case, right-click on one of the files and see if there's a "read only" effect present.
