$155 after rebate....I think they went up in price from June. I remember seeing more in the $150-160 range.
but to answer your question; none currently are under $150 with or without rebate

if possible, find an HIS iceq4 edition 4870.those things are amazzing OCers (at least the 3870 iceq3 is)
The 512MB version was selling for $160 after MIR (It's sold out, not a surprise though). However, the 1GB version is selling for $165 after MIR ($185 before).
Sapphire 1GB version is selling for $140 after MIR ($150 before).

buy the HIS 1GB, you WONT be dissapointed. thats a steal from what ive seen the prices on it (especially the 1GB edition)
i just recently ordered an HIS iceq4 4870 with a game from new egg for $182 but you can get it from tiger direct for $174 with $3 shipping and despite how cheap the shipping is it will still get shipped the day or day after you order it and be in in 2-4 days
i havent got it yet but the reviews and specs are great 1 GB GDDR5 lol dident even know that existed till a few weeks ago

mmmm, seen better cooling designs (*AHEM the HIS iceq4 AHEM*)
the air is just being thrown into the case making everything else hot, best to get a blower that will force air OUT of the case.
but for the price, hey come on, its a 4870!! it take it in a heartbeat, even if it wasnt HIS
I'm no gaming or graphics card guru, but for $115 (with code EMCLVLN45 at newegg), this is hard to beat for value & performance:

Especially if you crossfire ... 2GB crossfired for $230 ... great deal.
I have used the 4850, 4870, & 4890 1GB cards from XFX. If money is tight, you can't go wrong with this 4850.

that is true, the 4850 offers an excellent price/performance ratio. If all else fails, the 4850 will easily beat 4870 if crossfired
but! make sure to get an HIS iceq4 4850

well. im not raelly that tight on money. but is the $ difference from the 4850 to the 4870 worth it. last minute choice. thanks guys for all the good repliesjimbo
no, there is a pretty big differance between the two cards. If you got the money, the 4870 is soooo worth it.
roughly up to 20-30% faster than a 4850 i believe.
are you freaking serious.
this is what i bought: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

as long as you have a good cpu to back it up... i'd go with a 4870 tooWhat is the minimum CPU for the 4870? I'm considering an upgrade to the 4870. I have an AMD X2 7750 @ 2.7 Ghz. Will the 4870 be bottlenecked by my CPU?
My local PC store has marked down the 512 HIS IceQ 4870 to $113 which is an absolute steal.

First of all, please don't post on someone else's thread. Second of all, your CPU will bottleneck the graphics card.
However, I would still get the 4870 because it is around the prices of the 4850s. You can upgrade later.
