Ok so my mother board kicked the bucket tonight.. mad sadness over here...

So im asking you people what would be a good motherboard for me to pick up to use with my old hardware

CPU: Q6600
Ram: OCZ 6400
Power Supply: OCZ GameXstream 700W
Video Cards: XFX 8800GTS 80G 640MB, EVGA 8800GTS 80G 640MB
Hard Drives: SATA

My old dead motherboard was a ASUS P5N32-E SLI

I would like a ASUS board... i think they are good most of the time... and this is my first ASUS MB that i owned that died on me.

I overclock my Ram and CPU and use SLI

anyone know of a good motherboard that you think would work out really well for me ?

thanks for your post

Another Asus board probably. They're always a good choice. Obviously you need SLI. A good P45 board would serve you well if you want to OC the Q6600, but it would not have SLI support.

Stay away from 680i nForce boards if your goal is to OC your Q6600.

To do SLI on a 775 without 680i, you need the newer 7 series nForce.
