RAM Question

Hi folks,

I recently did a new build (Intel Core i5 2500k, Asus P8P67 EVO, 2 x MSI 1GB GTX 560Ti Twin Frozr, etc... See image)

Anyhow, I'm very impressed with the performance, but was wondering about the RAMs ability to over-clock. It's 2 x 4GB modules of G.Skill Ripjaws X RAM.

Is anyone familiar with this RAM and if it has the potential to be over-clocked?

It shouldn't cause over clocking. Wait for few days and keep monitoring.

You don't need to OC the ram just the CPU

All RAM is different that RAM more than likely can get to 1450 or 1500 MHz at CAS 9..voltage around 1.6....Just my two cents
