What do you think about my new editing rig?

I do heavy HDV editing for films, documentary and sports. Bought everything last week. Case came, the rest is on its way via UPS.

Logitech MX3200 board/mouse
Logitech X-540 Speakers
Running Vista Ultimate 64

This rig is replacing my 5 year old 3.4Ghz P4, ASUS P5AD2-E mobo, 3GB of ultra RAM, Radeon X850 plat video card (and the rest of the normal PC components).

And I'm moving up from Pinnacle Studio to Sony Vegas Pro 9.

Any thoughts about the expected differences between the two PCs as far as performance?
