why is cpu-z only showing 2 cores for my amd phenom 2 955 black?

core temp only shows 2 cores also.

You can disable cores in the BIOS. Make sure none are disabled.

Go to msconfig>>boot>>advanced tab>>Number of processors - set it to 4

cant see in bios where to disable cores already did msconfig boot. only shows 2 cores also tried to manualy put in 6144mb mem and it goes back to 768mb for some reason. i just installed gigabyte ma785gmt-ud2h, amd phenom 2 955 and 6 gig khx16ooc8d3k3/6gx kit (kingston hyperx) have 64 bit vista ultimate. its my first 4 core and its pissing me off that i cant figure it out myself. any help is greatly appreciated.

hey fellas i fixed it. unchecked the 2 cores that was showing and unchecked the mem reboot and it showd 4 cores and all my ram. thanx for the help.
