Would a 2.4Ghz P4 and a HD 3650 AGP make COD4 lag like crazy? Screen resolution is 1280x1024, but I doubt it will run at that res smoothly :na: What do you guys think?

No reason why COD4 shunt play with low settings and AA turned off along with shaders maybe; youd have to play about with the settings but i reckon it will run at some level.

Maybe low/medium?

probably low would run decently smooth, medium maybe also, but probably no anti aliasing or shaders/other effects

i think it will be fine, my brother has a pentium d @ 2.6ghz with a 9500 gt card? i think?

and it runs cod 4 very well and your pc isn't that far behind his is it? doesn't seem like it would be much a problem.

the game has a auto-detect button for settings anyways so you can play around with that

I read up on the Cod4 forums around 5 months ago...or was it 3...anyways short story is there where a hell of alot of users on P4's and 7 series cards getting perfectly playable games....aslong as your card is decent you don't really have a cpu bottleneck in cod4...atleast not enough to hold back your card..

Ok thanks for the help, also thanks Rewindlabs I played GRiD just now on this system with full res and it plays great. Even though it asks for a 3.0Ghz P4

Time for me to get a new computer...... ;)
