Will an After Market HS/F make my computer quieter?

So I've just built a PC with an AMD Phenom II X6 1090t. I don't care to overclock it, but I'm considering an aftermarket heatsink/fan in hopes that it will run quietly. My work PC runs a low-voltage chip and hardly makes any noise at all under stock cooling and I'd like to replicate the effect on my gaming rig if possible. I know that an aftermarket fan w/ arctic silver 5 would run cooler, but I'm not worried about that since I'm already sitting at ~30C idle, ~50C under load.

You can get a Hyper 212+ for ~$28, can give you good temps and it¡s quiet.

I use the coolermaster 212+ on many builds. not silent(still quiet and easy to install), but compare it to the AMD stock heatsink(damn thing gets to 5000-6000rpms under load) and it will be very quiet(may even seem silent ).
