Hello,
I have a 64-bit OS Win7, yet when I try to run correct corresponding .rom file it prompts an error implying that it isn't compatible. How should I go about this?

First why are you trying to update your BIOS? if you don't need the new BIOS for a specific reason don't upgrade the BIOS as there is a risk of bricking your motherboard., The reason you are unable to update the BIOS is because you have downloaded the wrong one for your motherboard. I know as motherboard versions and revision numbers can be confusing
