This question was somewhat asked... But, I have a 990x and dual 580gtx's in a obsidian 800d... I was thinking of doing a single loop with a triple 120mm radiator and a single 140 between the CPU and gpus... I'm wondering 2 things. Will that be enough and what is a good pump to get?

Loop order doesn't matter, so the rads before, in between or after the any component won't make a difference in temps.

Like saint19 mentioned, you'll likely need something along those lines, considering you are assuming a 'normal' thickness rad like a XSPC RS series, not a thick one like an XSPC RX series or TC PA. In the sense that you would use a normal rad, a 2x120 rad per CPU or GPU is a good rule of thumb.

Do you want this moved to the watercooling forum?

Wait...nevermind...it already is here. For some reason, I thought I was lost in air cooling. My fault.

I was thinking black ice 360 Xtreme for the 3 120s and the 140. Noise isn't an issue, I want to moderately overclock my 990x is currently OCd to 4.27. And Id be able to do case mods I'd just have to figure out where to put my ssd. Thanks for the feedback.

You looking at around 780W heat dissipation (add another 120w for high OC)

The beauty about LC set ups is silence ,there is nothing like highly OC'd system and very quite ,if you looking for internal set up 360 Xtreme (20FPI) is nice/good quality RAD but will require high RPM/CFM fans ..it may not be enough ,consider this RAD and fans;

i would suggest getting fan controller with any fan above 2000rpm

if this won't be enough you can add 240 on the bottom,here is how you mod top and bottom;

That rad won't work... But I was looking at the 360. I don't have anywhere to put a 480. and I'm definately doin the mod. I'm gonna go with a 360 and a 280 and maybe a 140... Don't really think I'll need that tho. Now my question is, with that many radiators dual gpu blocks and a CPU block, what would be the best way to set it up? Single or double loop. And what pump(s) would you suggest?

Ok... So Decided to do a single loop. Res-->pump-->360-->CPU-->280-->GPUs-->140--> res... I know it probably seems like overkill, but I don't mind overkill when it comes to cooling. Will the MCP 655 be able to push through all that? Also is there any advantage to running 2 pumps in series and what is a dual pump top?
