Can anyone suggest a long term storage solution for 2.5 inch HDDs?

At work we use them to record video and are keeping all of the originals on the HDDs. I have looked around but all I can find are cases for 3.5 inch drives or ridiculously priced pelican cases.

Currently I am just returning them to the OEM packaging in the anti-static pouches they came in. I will probably keep doing this unless someone has better idea.

Hey Lilcinw,

There are many 2.5" converters out there that makes it compatible with 3.5" systems. This might not be the solution you were looking for, but, it makes it easy to hot swap drives. You may want to check out resellers such as Newegg, Amazon, etc for information.

Hope this helps you with your question!

No, I need something to put 2.5 inch drives in before they go on a shelf for the next 5 years.
