I have a 500GB WD HDD. I bought a 60GB SSD (Patriot Inferno) and am wondering if I install the SSD with my operating system and still have the os on my WD hdd what would happen? I'm only asking because I have battlefield on my 500GB hdd but it was bought on Steam and emailed to me as a gift, so therefore I don't believe I can re-install the game from the downloaded gift (Battlefield).Does this make since?? Thanks

Does the game require Steam to operate?

You will most likely have to do a "repair" to the game, as the necessary register entries are not on the new SSD for it to work properly... IMO

If you have access to Steam and it is part of Steam, you'll be able to reinstall Steam and re-download the game. I'm able to use my Steam account on any PC and install the game. It just has to be accessed from my Steam account.

I believe that you may need to use the Acronis True Image WD Edition Software to clone your existing wd drive to the new one; if the new one can hold it. you can download it at this link below:

and use the "Answer ID 3680" to do the clone!!!
