just want to check does ati have span mode? have a 4870, and wondering?

all post about span mode i find are of older cards

Vista does not support Span without third party software.

can you give me and example of third party software that would help? and at the moment i am in windows 7 beta, getting windows 7 voucher to boot, maybe some light? or at the very least will span mode support on ati in xp?

I'm not really sure any good ones. I have not looked for them in ages. There used to be a canadian company that did it..

You could try a triple head to go for three monitors, or a dual head to go for two monitors, I hear they work really well. They are quite expensive though.
