Logitech G5 Mouse issues

Hey i have been doing some searching and came to an end with no answer.

My question is about the Logictech G5 mouse. Anyone else having issues with the report rate resetting? I set it to 1k and sometimes it will randomly reset down to 500. It seems if i jerk the mouse cord onto my desk(not enough to put pressure on the usb port) it will reset also... Any idea? Thanks!

Yep, i have the latest driver. I guess i can uninstall and reinstall it... see if that works.. mabye moving it to a different usb port..... um i doubt any will work though. i will try and respond back.


**Edit** Found out what it is... When i do a hard tug on the cord portion going into the mouse it drops from 1k to 500 reports.... Hrm... stupid stupid crap!
