Amd Phenom II X4 965 BE <<< need a very VERY good cooler for that, im currently using some terrible cooler i bought.....

the pc is media / gaming

specs
Asus Crosshair III
Amd Phenom II X4 965 BE
XFX 4870 XXX 1gb
2gb ocz platinum ddr3 1333mhz
600 watt psu
Sony Bluray Player
160gb Hdd
500gb Hdd
500gb External Hdd
Dvi - Hdmi Connected To Philips 42" Full HD Lcd Tv Running At Native

that is what i'm running atm but i need help with a new cooler and i need to know if i need another power supply to run all that

dont want to spend to much as i am running out of funds, about £50 would be the limit but i suppose i could stretch that a tiny bit if its worth it

i need you guys superior knowledge ;)

mussyo,if you look on ebay you can find some Zalman CNPS 9700 and 9900s for cheap, 9700s I were going for about 20-30USD, 9900 going for 45-50USD

what about the power supply is 600 watt enough, and its a horrible unheard of make....

i dont know mate its just a 600 watt deneric peice of ***, doesnt have any sata power ports or gpu power ports just the 4 pin ....

Im positive, you cannot compare your PSU to that Corsair..... It's like comparing a Ford Pinto to a Corvette :D

52A on 1 rail is enough for a HD4890 ... and still have power to spare...... ;)

VX550 would be fine, TX/HX 750/850 if you want to go CF.

Mugen 2 is the best cooler for the price. CCF and S1283 are also good for the price.

Best overall would prolly be Megahalems or lapped+washer modded True.
