G5 mouse in games

hey i got the g5 mouse not to long ago and kinda have some problems, nothing big tho.

So i went into the logitech mouse controller thing, and set my dpi settings, i have 5 diff ones, everything works good so far.

then when i play cod 2 everything works good, but when i go to play team fortress 2 or left 4 dead my settings dont work only the default 3 work, and they seem to be alot slower in the games then on the desktop, So what i gotta do is go into the sensitivity of the game and increase it there, but sometimes it gets messed up and that doesnt do anything just for some reason the mouse works really slow even when i change the dpi settings to the highest that the mouse came with its still slow, Now i kno its not the mouse prolly but the game.

So how do i set it up so it works??
