APPROXIMATE PURCHASE DATE: 2-3 days BUDGET RANGE: Trying to stay as close to $400-500

SYSTEM USAGE FROM MOST TO LEAST IMPORTANT: gaming- wow, surfing internet

PARTS NOT REQUIRED: video card -- bfg 9800 gtx

PREFERRED WEBSITE(S) FOR PARTS: newegg.com, any really

PARTS PREFERENCES: intel cpu

OVERCLOCKING: Maybe SLI OR CROSSFIRE: No

MONITOR RESOLUTION: 1440x900

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: A friend is asking about buying a new comp and would like to stay below $500. He mostly plays wow.

He would be reusing his 9800 gtx, so he can save a little bit of money on not buying a new card.

The parts I'm thinking about for him right now are mostly taken from the $600 micro may builders competition with a few switches. He really wants the antec 900 and would prefer an atx mobo rather than micro.

The burner you have linked is EIDE, you want a SATA for obvious reasons. The E5200 is pretty much a dog if not over clocked...sans the h/s w/thermal paste in this build. Also that psu you have is not a good one. This HD down below is qucker than the one you have linked.

any suggestions or should this be good to go

I agree with ryan, you're on a limited budget, but spending almost $200 on your case/PSU once shipping is factored in. Get a cheaper case, one of the free shipping cases on newegg and a deal on a psu. Use the money you save for a CPU or other upgrade.
