hi i have been around finding a good keyboard and mouse set for my desktop and there wanted a cordless keyboard combo, but after reading a bit, i found that i would want the logitech cordless wave pro which is a little expensive, but i am willing buy it, after looking around, i found some problems with this keyboard, reviewers say that it sometimes lag a lot or sometimes, with just one press of a key it would interpret it as multiple key presses, so anyone would like to share their opinions?

Another things is that i like the MX 1100, so i wanted to get this keyboards, but if the combo is not good i would be getting a MX 1100 and an logitech illuminated keyboard, so anyone have any thoughts on this one too?

And lastly, which would be better, the MX revolution or MX 1100, my problem with the revolution is that it is rechargeable, so if the battery dies like when it cannot hold a charge anymore it goes to the bin while the MX 1100 uses disposable batteries. Thanks guys!

Personally, I prefer wired peripherals over wireless because it is cheaper, more responsive (IMO), plus I won't be using my PC while let say, I'm 5-10m away from it.

I always go for wired for reliability.

The wireless keyboard... Umm i wouldn't recommend it.

The wireless mouse... I have the MX Revolution, i can recommend it. Its a great mouse, love it to bits. I play quite alot of FPS, never lags or misses a beat.

As far as the charging goes, maybe once every 3- 4 months with regular use.
Heavy use like @ a LAN where you continualy play for a month it lasted me 2 weeks on a charge.

Mine is 1.5 years old, still gives me the exact same performance as the day i bought it.

So my recommendation would be a wired wave with the MX Revolution. (You get used to the side wheel very quick, and get grumpy when another mouse doesn't have it)

I've never tried gaming with a wireless mouse, because I've read too many accounts of lag with them, but if the one N@no is describing is decent, that would be nice. I do like my G5, but sometimes the cord is a little annoying.
I've only used one wireless keyboard, and I wouldn't recommend it for general, continuous use, as I did have lag and multiple-keypress issues. It was only a Gyration though, and I'm sure there are better ones. I will say I do not like the idea of proprietary battery packs at all.
