ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: I'm pretty flexible on the processor, but I had looked into AMD because it's supposed to be the most easily upgradeable down the road without tearing out the motherboard - something that's important to me, as I won't likely be doing a complete computer replacement for some time. This will be my first complete build, with some partial builds (sans-motherboard, which was preinstalled in the case) some years ago.

As I mentioned before, I'm fairly flexibile on the chipset but I do want something that I will be able to upgrade with a minimum amount of fuss. I've looked around these forums for systems that others have recommended, and I'm fairly certain that this is a good build, but as I haven't done this in a while I'd like someone else to look over it and let me know if there's something obvious I've overlooked or forgotten. Thanks in advance for any help.

dk i think i would have gone with the Phenom II 720 BE and an AM3/DDR3 board, won't know how long that backwards compatibility is going to last (its up to the motherboard makers to update the bios)
